Professional Experience
2018 to 2022 - Artist, Goldsmiths University London. A collaborative project led by Dr Fay Dennis, a Wellcome Research Fellow. Project Title - ‘Mapping bodies and care practices in making people who use drugs matter’ . Working alongside Dr Dennis to develop creative research methods and facilitate workshops with participants. Following this, creation of an artistic response and public exhibition.
2017 to 2018 - Artist, Kings College London Cultural Institute, Arts in Mind Innovation Scheme in conjunction with K.C.L. Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. Project title - ‘Losing One’s Sense of Self’. Collaborating with Neuroscientists, the charity Headway and project participants. Development and delivery of workshops using creative research methods. Facilitation of participants’ own work for exhibition and creation of an artistic response in the form of an installation. Exhibition within the Maudsley Hospital, London and delivery of a public workshop as part of the Arts in Mind Festival.
2018 - Visiting Speaker, Oxford Brookes University
2016 - Residency, Oxford University Hospital Trust – observation of plastic & reconstructive surgery. Project title ‘On the Mend’
2016 to 2017 - Artist in Residence, Banbury & Bicester College
2015 to 2017 - Event co-ordination, budget management and exhibition installation for ‘We're Here Now’ an annual community engagement event offering pop-up art exhibitions, shops and creative workshops, and a key contributor to Banbury’s success in the Great British High Street Awards 2016.
